Help with selling

How selling on Safqatna works, from listing an item to the money reaching your bank.

How selling works

How much does it cost to sell?

Listing is free. When your item sells, Safqatna keeps a 5% commission (minimum BD 0.500) from the item price — delivery is paid by the buyer, not you. It is charged per pickup: your pickup's rate plus BD 0.500 for each extra item collected with it. The exact rates are shown when you list and at checkout.

What can I sell?

Almost anything you own that a driver can collect in Bahrain — electronics, furniture, appliances, fashion, and more. Pick the category that fits, declare the condition honestly, and choose the right size class so the delivery fee is correct. Anything illegal, counterfeit, or unsafe is removed.

Do I ever meet the buyer?

No. The driver is the only person you deal with. The buyer never sees your address or contact details, and you never see theirs.

What happens at pickup

A Safqatna driver comes to your pickup address, checks the item against your listing — photos, condition, and your answers to the category questions — takes a photo as proof of collection, and drives away with it. You don't print anything or package anything special.

If an item fails inspection

If the driver finds the item doesn’t match the listing, the sale stops right there: the buyer’s order is refunded automatically, the item stays with you, and your listing goes straight back online. Repeated failed inspections hurt your standing, so describe honestly.

When and how you get paid

How do I get paid?

Add your bank details once under Selling → Payouts. After a sale completes, your payout — the item price minus the commission — is released to you automatically. No bank details on file means the money waits for you; once they have been on file for 24 hours it is released. If you owe Safqatna anything — such as a fee for a pickup that failed — it is taken from your payouts, oldest first, and can reduce a payout to nothing.

How long until my money arrives?

Your payout is normally released about 24 hours after delivery is confirmed. That's the usual case, not a maximum — it's held for as long as a dispute is open, your account is under review, we've placed a hold on the order, you haven't added or changed bank details in the last 24 hours, or payouts are paused across the platform. The order page tells you which one applies.
